Region 6 Conference Tour


Tour will meet in the Convention Center Lobby outside Registration at 9 AM.
Stop #1
The City of Chattanooga Wood Waste Processing facility.
The Wood Waste Recycling Center processes yard waste collected from homes,
contractors, and self-haulers. The waste is processed on site and the mulch is available
at no charge to City of Chattanooga residents.
Stop #2
The City of Chattanooga Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
This facility accepts only residential hazardous materials. The facility is available to all
Tennessee residents (photo id Required) to dispose of common hazardous materials
generated within their homes. 15 gallons or 150 pounds is the maximum amount of
material that can be dropped off per household.
Stop #3
The City of Chattanooga Refuse Collection Center at 4500 N Access Rd. The
City operates 3 of these sites for residents to dispose of bulky trash items generated
from the households in which they reside.
Stop #4
The Westrock recycling Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). This facility
processes single stream recyclables for the City of Chattanooga and the region.
